Any changes to load, such as fuel weight, luggage etc - will be compensated by the adjustment ranges of spring preload, rebound and compression level. The cartridge can be completely adjusted from the top.
In a Closed Cartridge, oil and nitrogen are separated by a bladder. This guarantees constant and temperature-independent absorption.
The Closed Cartridge thus guarantees a more sensitive and more comfortable reaction of the fork.
Tractive use the largest piston available on the market, the piston in the cartridge is 35mm diameter, whereas the OEM open cartridge piston is only 20mm diameter, giving an increase of over 350% in surface area for the shims, allowing for much more precise, and controlled damping.
The seperate rebound and compression adjustment, one in each leg, always allows for an effective and precise suspension adjustment, which perfectly matches your personal driving style. It was built for each road condition and purpose of use - whether you drive on motorways, main roads, smaller country roads, off-road tracks, whether you are on a long-distance travel with a huge luggage volume or whether you drive fast and ambitiously.
If extremely heavy road conditions act on the front wheel, the integrated "hydraulic endstop" (PDS) avoids mechanical impact on the fork, and ensures a smooth, final deceleration to the fork under full compression.

The basic setup is adapted to demanding off-road riders, with a bias towards performance. As such, the extra length, and travel of the CC Fork Kit requires fitting in conjunction with our 230mm travel Rally Shock.

If you do not have access to a battery impact driver, or air gun, to remove the compression adjuster in the bottom of the fork leg, then we recommend purchasing our Fork Cartridge Tool, RRP 660, in order to make removal of the OEM fork cartridge simple.
Both fork legs require 15 SAE oil with 100ml per leg volume.
