THESE WHEELS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO UK CUSTOMERS AS "EXCHANGE" OPTION BECAUSE WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNED OEM WHEELS FROM OUTSIDE UK.
It is now possible to purchase new, GOLD ANODISED stainless-steel spoked, heavy-duty wheels for the Yamaha T7 Tenere, to cope with extreme off-roading, right through to street travel, all with the excellent SM-Pro alloy rims fitted, or the option of EXCEL alloy rims for the narrower competition size wheels, just select from drop-down.
All wheel kits use the Yamaha OEM cast hubs to readily accept the OEM discs and sprocket cush drive, and come ready-fitted with high quality bearings & seals.
Both front and rear SM-Pro rims are made with the "anti-debeading" lip, specifically for tubeless tyres, essential to seal the tubeless tyre bead to the rim.
Front and rear (narrower) EXCEL rims do not have the "anti-debeading" lip, they are for tubed tyres only, or bib-mousse.
The front SM-Pro wheel is supplied with 21"x 2,15 rim, and the rear SM-Pro wheel wheel is supplied with 18"x 4,25 rim, both slightly wider than the OEM 21"x 1,85 & 18"x 4,00 width rims.
The front EXCEL wheel is supplied with a 21"x1,85 rim, and the rear EXCEL wheel is supplied with 18"x2,50 rim, to suit competition tyres and bib-mousse.
Each wheel is built using oversize (4,5mm diameter) "Bulldog" stainless-steel spokes, and nickel-plated brass nipples, so no corrosion problems.
New wheel bearings and seals are fitted, along with a new rim tape.
THE MAIN PRICE SHOWN IS FOR EXCHANGE, WITHOUT TUBELESS OPTION
WE CAN ALSO OFFER A FULL PURCHASE OR EXCHANGE OPTION with our new wheel kit, just choose the option in the drop-down, place your order, then ship your OEM wheels to us, (WITHOUT TYRES, DISCS, ABS RINGS OR SPROCKET CUSH DRIVE) and once recieved, we will ship the new wheels by return, subject to the OEM hubs being in good condition, we are not concerned with condition of the rim, spokes or bearings as these will be replaced as part of our refurbishment process, along with shot-blasting & powder-coating the hubs.
This means you are without wheels for just a couple of days, no need to wait a long time to get your OEM wheels re-rimmed and spoked, plus a generous saving on purchasing a whole new set of wheels.
A TUBELESS OPTION IS AVAILABLE, WITH EITHER FULL PURCHASE OR EXCHANGE, select on the drop-down option box above, so both front and rear wheels can have the TUBELESS conversion, if required. This makes for much quicker repairs to punctures, no need to remove the wheel from bike, and has a 4 year warranty on each wheel. This tubeless option is available both as purchase outright, or the exchange option, but we need to allow an extra 2 weeks lead time for the TUBELESS option to be completed, as this is done to order.
THE TUBELESS OPTION IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH EXCEL RIMS
Combined weight of both front & rear wheels 10,5 kg, same as OEM wheels (without discs fitted).
DO NOT USE ACID, OR ALKALI-BASED WHEEL CLEANERS TO REMOVE DIRT AND BRAKE DUST, AS THESE CAN CORRODE AND REMOVE THE POWDER-COATING AND TARNISH THE STAINLESS-STEEL AND NICKEL-PLATED BRASS NIPPLES. USE A PH-NUETRAL CLEANER, OR SOAP AND WATER.
We can also offer, from the drop-down menu, a set of genuine Yamaha front & rear discs, plus ABS rings and all required screws in order to fit the new wheels so that they can be built as a complete set, much easier to swap over.
